Studio Terms & Conditions

  1. Introduction:
    1. These terms and conditions (the “terms”) apply to all clients of Joanne Cornish Pilates
    2. The address for all correspondence under these terms is Joanne Cornish Pilates, Enterprise House, Warwick Street, Longridge, Preston PR3 3EB
    3. Joanne Cornish Pilates reserves the right to make changes to these terms and will provide notice of such changes as would reasonably be required
  1. Studio and Matwork Sessions:
    1. All Pilates studio sessions and reformer / matwork classes must be paid in advance
    2. Only block bookings are entitled to any percentage discounts
    3. Block bookings of 5 sessions are valid for 3 months from date paid and are non refundable
    4. Block bookings of 10 sessions are valid for 6 months from date paid and are non refundable
  1. Registration / Health &Safety:
    1. All new clients are required to complete a health screening & assessment form
    2. Socks are to be work at all times in the studio
  1. Beginners Foundation / Initial Consultation
    1. All clients wishing to attend semi private studio sessions must first attend a 1:1 consultation
    2. All clients wishing to attend a reformer or matwork class must first attend a foundation session. Concessions may be made for clients with previous Pilates experience at the discretion of the instructor
  1. Clients Responsibility
    1. Clients are responsible for the security of their own personal belongings whilst attending the studio. Joanne Cornish Pilates accepts no responsibility for personal belongings and/or valuables lost, stolen or damaged
    2. Parking is not available at Joanne Cornish Pilates between the hours of 8am and 5pm. Cars must not be parked on the car park directly in front of the studio during these times
    3. No liability is accepted for loss or damage to cars parked either on the car park or elsewhere whilst the client is attending Pilates classes
    4. Clients are responsible for immediately informing Joanne Cornish Pilates of any illnesses or injuries that might prevent them from performing normal Pilates exercise routines
  1. Studio Session / Class Renewal Bookings:
    1. When renewing a pre-paid block of Pilates semi private sessions, reformer or matwork classes it is essential that 7 days advance notice is given of the intention to re-book and full payment made
    2. Late notice of the intention to re-book may result in a regular time-slot being offered to others
    3. Bookings are not considered to have been confirmed until full payment has been received
  1. Cancellations / Re-scheduling:
    1. 24 hours notice is required for cancellation or rescheduling of appointments. Notice of cancellation should be made via the online booking system. Cancellations can also be made by telephone, text or email.
    2. Semi private sessions and reformer / matwork classes cancelled without 24 hours notice will charged at the full session rate
  1. Payment:
    1. Payments can be made by cheque, cash or bank transfer
    2. Cheques should be made payable to Joanne Cornish
