Studio Classes

Studio apparatus and matwork sessions are ideal if you want to see results in as short a time as possible or require specialised attention for either rehabilitation or to improve a specific sporting performance.  After an initial consultation, we will provide you with a personalised exercise programme tailored to your specific needs, updated as you progress and grow stronger.

The apparatus is based on variable spring resistance which supports, encourages and challenges the use of the body’s own resistance. This allows a dynamic and adaptable range of exercises and is therefore suitable for all levels of ability. Pilates equipment encourages an even workout throughout the body with the option of focusing on certain areas according to your individual requirements.

The studio matwork sessions use the body’s own resistance along with a variety of small equipment to challenge the body and encourage correct muscle recruitment.  Each session is tailored to your specific goals.

Semi private studio session

A semi private class is for those who would like more personal attention, but also enjoy the group environment. These sessions are ideal if you want to see results in as short a time as possible, require specialised attention for either rehabilitation or to improve a specific sporting performance, or if you would like to work on specific postural issues.

After an initial private consultation, clients work with their teacher in small groups. This ensures that each client is able to work effectively, receiving personal attention, detail and individual corrections. Improvement is monitored and programmes are constantly developed according to the client’s progress.

All classes last for 1 hour.

A semi private apparatus session is £30 (Block booking discounts are available

One to one studio session

Practicing Pilates on a one to one basis ensures that your exercise program is specifically tailored to your needs.  Private sessions are recommended for clients who have specific rehabilitation, health or fitness needs that require undivided attention, or for those who prefer an exclusive session.

During the first session, we will carry out a full postural analysis and discuss any injuries or physical limitations you may have.

We will discuss with you what you want to achieve from Pilates and if there are any specific areas you wish to work on.

A 1 hour private apparatus session is £60

a 1 hour private matwork session is £50

Initial Consultation

The purpose of an initial consultation is to discuss your health background, what you want to achieve, and to conduct a full postural assessment.  We will then introduce you to the fundamentals of Pilates and some basic exercises which will allow us to assess your muscular balance, mobility and flexibility.  Based on your consultation we will be able to mutually agree how best to progress.

For rehabilitation and injuries it is important that you have been cleared by your doctor or surgeon before you begin exercising.  Please complete the health screening form sent to you prior to your consultation, and bring along any notes from your doctor or health practitioner that may be helpful.

The consultation lasts for 60 minutes and costs from £45.

All studio sessions must be paid for in advance. We have a 24hr cancellation policy for all studio sessions. If for whatever reason you can’t make your session, please let us know with at least 24hrs notice, or the session will still be chargeable.
